Website terms
Blue Sail Technologies Ltd, Belfast, Northern Ireland. These terms apply when you order a website package through our website.
1. Your order and our review
When you place an order, you pay the full amount shown at checkout. We then review every order before any work begins, so that we can be sure of delivering exactly what you have chosen.
If we can take on your project, we will email your invitation to your website dashboard, and our agreement begins.
If, on review, we cannot take on your project as ordered, for example because it needs more work than the package covers, we will refund everything you paid to your original payment method, and neither of us will owe the other anything further.
2. What your website includes
The website package costs £49 and covers the first 12 months. It includes:
- two pages, designed for your business;
- your own domain name;
- hosting and the security certificate;
- one business email address;
- your own client dashboard.
Any extras you choose at checkout are described there, with their price and how often they are charged. Extras paid once are yours to keep. Yearly extras renew each year with your website plan.
3. Webcare
Webcare costs £129 a month. It includes unlimited updates to your existing pages and up to five new standard pages each month. Major new features, such as booking systems, are not included and are quoted separately. The first month is paid at checkout.
Webcare continues month to month. You can cancel at any time by letting us know before your next month begins, and it will end at the close of the month you have paid for.
4. Renewals
After the first year, your website plan renews at £79 a year, together with any yearly extras at their yearly price. We will send your renewal invoice a month before the renewal date.
If you decide not to renew, simply let us know before the renewal date. Your website, email and hosting will then end at the close of the period you have paid for.
5. Your right to cancel
If you are buying as a consumer, you normally have 14 days from our acceptance of your order to cancel. At checkout you asked us to start work straight away. If you cancel within the 14 days, we will refund what you paid, less a fair amount for the work we have already done.
These cancellation rights do not apply when you buy for a business.
6. Your content
You provide the words, photos and logos for your website, and you confirm that you have the right to use them. Your content always remains yours.
While your plan is active, you may use the website we build for you for your business. If you leave, we will send you a copy of your content and photos.
7. Your domain name
We register your domain name for you through our provider and renew it as part of your plan.
If you would like to move your domain name elsewhere, we will transfer it to you free of charge, once any outstanding invoices have been paid.
8. Payment
Payment is taken by card through our secure payment provider. We never see or store your card details. Prices are as shown at checkout.
9. Our responsibilities
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for loss of business or profit. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
10. The law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland will deal with any dispute.
